The most succinct description I've heard yet of OSGi's promise is SOA in a JVM, which should have developers and lovers of buzzwords alike salivating.

"SOA in a JVM"というフレーズに目が留まります。SOAのモジュールをOSGiで配布できるというSOA基盤としてのOSGi、つまり、SOAとOSGiの相性の良さというのを良く言い得ていると思います。分散環境でも、ローカル環境でも、安定してデプロイできる。そういう基盤が必要です。
